in the slingshot

I was walking down East 3rd at Broadway yesterday and thought, "I feel like I'm in a slingshot."

I feel like i'm in this tense, uncomfortable place that's getting tighter and tighter, but i'm looking forward and when the hand that's pulling me lets go...

Well, i'm going to knock out some big ol ugly giant...or fly to the moon!
