possession

i've been telling everyone about this book, which i finished in Michigan (and probably wouldn't have finished if Harry had come any earlier). I HIGHLY recommend it if you enjoy literary criticism (or like to laugh at literary critics), if you enjoy Victorian poets, or are delighted by brilliant story crafting.

After i finished it, i learned that it was also made into a movie starring Gwyneth Paltrow. The pleasure of the book was so tied to the words for me, i don't know if i'd like the movie. Although i just noticed on IMDB that the film was directed by Neil LaBute, who is a playwright that i like. I had forgotten he is also a filmmaker.

  • I had seen that and wondered if it was good--such a good cover! Now with your recommendation, I'll be sure to put it on my list and enjoy it. After I finish the book about that Potter boy, which I am allowed to start tonight.

Love you! And! I'm coming to New York, probably in autumn! Because Clare and Nick and the baby are moving there!
