All Play is still Work

This week i'm enjoying being a part of a workshop reading for a new adaptation of TALE OF TWO CITIES. The reading is one of three plays being workshopped in the Program in Educational Theatres' "New Plays for Young Audiences" series. I love being part of the play development process, and i love the atmosphere in a workshop session.
Although, being in rehearsal every night (besides being exhausting after a full day of work behind a desk) is making me itch to be in a "real" honest-to-goodness play where we wear costumes and memorize lines and things like that. it's been a while for me.
The series is held in the Provincetown Playhouse, a historic theatre now owned by NYU. I feel privileged to have had many opportunities to perform on that stage.
