a thought for wives
I've wished i could meet Bono's wife, Ali, for a long time. I figure she must really be an extraordinary person. (After taking a look at this unofficial website, and this video of the clothing line, EDUN, she has helped start, i'm certain she is.) Since Christmas, I've been reading through U2BYU2 and came across this comment by Bono:
"I sing this song [All I Want is You] to Ali...I wanted to be more the kind of man in the house than she wanted me to be. She doesn't need me to be anything other than the person I am. I would think, 'Gosh, I wish I was more this way, I wish I was more that way,' She would always look at me and say, 'Actually, I like you the way you are. Lighten up."
I hope someday i can be a wife like that.
Listen to their newest single, "Love Left a Window." In the first lines it became one of my favorites.

I have told Jon a million times that I would love to meet her too! I agree that she must be one extraordinary woman. They have 4 kids and he is gone sooooo much. That would be really hard as a wife and a mom. She should write a book for wives who have husbands that travel!
I always wonder why he doesn't wear a wedding ring-personally, that would drive me nuts but I am thinking that she must be 100X more secure than myself.
I got Jon U2byU2 for Christmas but he has hidden it from me so I won't steal it from it and read it before he gets to.
